100 Years of Van Heek in Losser
This year marks a remarkable milestone for Van Heek Textiles: our factory building in Losser turns 100 years old.
Built in 1926 by Ludwig van Heek and his sons, the building has become a true landmark in Losser and far beyond. For a century, it has been a place where craftsmanship, innovation, and community come together. Today, the building is listed in the Dutch National Heritage Register, recognizing its significance as an important piece of regional industrial heritage.
In June, we will mark this anniversary with an open day for our employees and the local community. During the open day, visitors will have a rare opportunity to step inside one of the few textile factories in the Netherlands where the complete production process, from weaving and knitting to finishing, still takes place under one roof. Visitors will also be able to visit a specially curated exhibition highlighting 100 years of this remarkable building.
We are proud to celebrate this milestone locally, right where it all began.
Please note that due to these celebrations, we will be closed on June 5, 2026, as we mark this special occasion with our staff.
